Created in the latter part of 2011, LibriCritic is a book review blog that critically appraises all things to do with the written word, with particular focus on the expansive genre of YA fiction. LibriCritic is run by a former bookseller turned smalltown librarian, who has been devouring teen books and recommending them to readers for over a decade. She has a soft-spot for kick-butt heroes/heroines, epic romances, extensive worldbuilding, and plot twists no one saw coming. Her other interests include the many incarnations of Sherlock Holmes and traveling.

LibriCritic receives several hundred hits a week and has been linked to from sites as prestigious as the BBC.
